Lost Gerbil is a screaming rat, combining a custom Screamer circuit with the authentic character of a reincarnated LM308-based Rat. Each channel can be used independently or stacked together, delivering everything from tube-like screams to raw, gritty drive.

MonkHawk Overdrive is based on the BD-2 (green channel), which red channel is tuned hotter with a custom gain boost on the other hand. This adds extra distortion character, delivering a touch-sensitive response while preserving a rich, textured tone.

Bass drives are tricky. When you add drive to a guitar, you get a push… a crunch… a pleasant breaking up; but when adding drive to a bass (due to its frequencies), too much drive turns into sputtering notes or fizzy mess. I prefer a growl and some punchiness, and the LiberaToe Bentham delivers on that front. It is not a fuzz or distortion, but a great pedal to make a bass pop in the mix, or to engage prior to a bass solo.
